Daniel Munter
Daniel has deep experience across advocacy, community support, program management and governance, and a long track record of influencing systems that shape the lives of people with disability.
He has contributed to national and international forums including the United Nations, the Disability Royal Commission, Senate inquiries, and major public campaigns such as Defend Our NDIS. His work consistently focuses on bringing the voices of disabled people into decision-making.
Daniel has held roles with organisations such as Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) and the Investment Dialogue for Australia’s Children, and currently serves as Deputy Chair with Different Journeys and as Co-Chair of Disability Rights and Culture.
As an autistic advocate, Daniel brings lived experience alongside professional and educational expertise. He is deeply committed to creating platforms, programs and opportunities that support young disabled people to build capacity, pursue employment, and achieve their goals.
Daniel will be works across our Disability Catalyst team and Education team shifting systems, influencing practice, and ensuring disabled voices are not just heard, but acted on.
