Geoff Trappett

Geoff brings a rare combination of lived experience leadership, strategic depth and practical delivery across disability inclusion, organisational change and systems reform. He is also widely respected across the disability sector and beyond as a strong advocate for equity and inclusion.

Geoff is a former Paralympic athlete, representing Australia at Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004, winning Gold in Sydney. Since then, he has continued to drive change through senior leadership roles across disability services, advocacy, policy reform, and his recent work advancing disability inclusion at Woolworths Group.

Geoff’s focuses on moving beyond good intentions — embedding disability inclusion into everyday systems, decisions and environments so it becomes normal, expected, and lasting.

Geoff’s appointment to our board strengthens our ability to lead and influence across the areas we care most about: employment, attitudes, education and housing — and to build the partnerships needed to shift outcomes at scale.
